Welcome!

In general, my research aims to better understand the past evolution, current structure, and future maintenance of biodiversity. As trained plant ecologist, I am mostly studying plants in systems that span various temporal and spatial scales, using a variety of approaches from multiple disciplines. I aim to continuously expanding my collaborative network, as I am convinced that a shared effort of many yields more than the sum of its parts. Since September 2020 I'm acting as the Coordinator of the Biodiversity Center of the Swiss Federal Research Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape (WSL).
